Aundrea Fimbres is an American singer as well as a dancer who was born on 29th June, 1983 in Upland, California, U.S. as a child, she was born as Aundrea Aurora Fimbres to the parents of Mexican descent. Aundrea is the youngest child in her family. Fimbres was singing from her early age.
She attended Upland High School and then went on to attend Claremont High School. By the time, Aundrea was at the age of eight, she was already a regular face who was seen at the church choir. She had also joined numbers of school plays after that. During her high school time, Fimbres was a member of the group called Intrigue. While that, time, she mostly sang pop songs.
Aundrea Fimbres then auditioned for the first season of MTV’s reality show in the year 2004 which was named Making the Band 3. Fimbres belonged to the final group of five female who named themselves as Danity Kane. As she was the shortest among the group members, she was considered as the baby of the group. She stands at the height of five feet and one inch. In the year 2006, Danity Kane released their first album which also includes their first singles and Aundrea’s favorite song Show Stoppers.
They released their second studio album on 18th March, 2008 which was named Welcome to the Dollhouse. They also became the first female group to have their first and second albums debut at #1 on the charts. The group got broken in 2009 and from that time, Aundrea has been performing with a Latin Funk Band called Solo and Soto from Norwalk, California. She was named the executive producer of J-Entertainment’s Next Big Thing Talent Show in 2012.
There were a rumors in the mid of 2013 that Danity Kane would be reuniting. Later, on 25th August, 2013, they appeared at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards announcing they were back together one of the member, D. Woods did not returned in the group. Their first official reunion single “Lemonade” was released on 15th May, 2014 on the internet via Official Danity Kane Soundcloud which was produced by The Stereotypes and features rapper Tyga. On the first night of their #NOFilterTour on 16th May, 2014 at The Fillmore in San Francisco after performing several songs with Danity Kane, Fimbres announced that she would be leaving the group at the end of their tour. But Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex and Dawn Richard would continue on as a trio.
Prior to that, Fimbres has also sang a song titled “Dip With You” on Baby Bash’s album named Cyclone. In addition, from December 4th to 13th, of 2009, she has also appeared in Oz: The Musical as Dorothy along with Nathaniel Flatt of V-Factory. A snippet of the O’Day and Fimbres’ collaboration “Ego Trip” was leaked on the internet on 30th December, 2010. Besides, she also made an appearance on O’Day’s reality show named All About Aubrey on 11th March, 2011. There, they recorded a song titled “Ego Trip” for O’Day’s solo album to be released in 2011.
