Bridget Regan is an American actress as well as a producer who was born on 3rd February 1982 in San Diego Country, California, United States. She is mostly known for portraying the role of Kahlan Amnell in the television series Legend of the Seeker. Regan was grown up in an Irish American and Catholic.
Regan began acting when she was still a child. She started as a child in productions of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘Annie’, ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ at the Paloma Theatre in Encinitas, California. Regan attended San Dieguito Academy High School in Encinitas, California. She then went on to join University of North Carolina School of Arts and graduated from there.
After completing graduation, Regan moved to New York City from Winston-Salem, North Carolina and then started to work on stage while giving audition for movies, television series and TV pilots. Bridget has appeared in numbers of movies as well as television shows since 2006. While she was in New York, she was involved in several films and television projects which also includes the guest appearance on Law & Order: Criminal Intent in which she played Assistant District Attorney Claudia Shankly, as Diana Foss on the short-lived ABC drama Six Degrees and as Daphne Tucker on the FOX Police drama New Amsterdam.
Her other television credits includes The Wedding Album, Love Monkey, American Experience, The Black Donnellys, Supreme Courtships, NCIS: Los Angeles, Hide, Person of Interest, The Frontier, Perception, Murder in Manhattan, Beauty and Beast, and Sons of Anarchy. She has also portrayed the roel of Mother Confessor Kahlan Amnell in Legend of the Seeker. It is the television show which is based on Terry Goodkind’s Swork of Truth series. Bridget began a recurring role as Rebecca Lowe, a brief love interest of Neal Caffrey in the fifth season of the USA Network crime drama White Collar in the year 2013.
Apart from that, Bridget has also made her appearances in the films such as Blinders in 2006, The Babysitters in 2007, Sex and the City in 2008, The Best and The Brightest in 2010 and John Wick in 2014. In addition, her theatre appearance includes, Sweet Bird of Youth, Children and Art, The Scottish Play, Is He Dead?, Geneva and Camp Wanatachi.

She is married to Eamon O’Sullivan who is an assistant director. Regan met O’Sullivan in New Zealand while filming Legend of the Seeker. Regan gave birth to her first child, daughter named Frankie Jean on 27th December 2010. The news about their baby was revealed two days after the birth via Twitter. Standing tall at the height of five feet and nine inch, Bridget Regan’s natural hair is red and curly. She dyed her hair dark brown and chemically straightened it for the Legend of the Seeker.
