Dana Bash Biography

Dana Bash is a proficient journalist and anchorwoman for CNN news. She is an American by her nationality and was born on June 15, 1971, in Montivale, New Jersey.

Her father, Stu Schwartz  is a leading broadcast producer of ABC News for "Good Morning America." Her mother, Frances Weinman is a writer and  instructor in Jewish studies.

She has a sibling, a brother, David Schwartz who is in the profession of video producer. As a child, she was so aimbitious and always aspired to become a television journalist.

She had completed her graduation from Pascack Hills High School from her hometown, Montvale.

Afterwards, she attended George Washington University and received her bachelor's degree by majoring in political communications. Meanwhile, she is serving as a congressional correspondent at CNN.

Bash began her career after competing her undergraduate degree by working as on -air reporter and producer on "Capital Hill" for CNN and also produced weekend shows for CNN such as "Late Edition," "Inside Politics," and "Evans & Novak."

Bash at the moment works for reporting the information that comes from the U.S House of Representatives and Senate For CNN news.

She is one of the accomplished journalists at present, and has got vast experienced working as a congressional correspondent.

Prior working as a CNN's chief congressional correspondent she was a White House correspondent. Now, she has been occupying the  major position in the world's leading news channel CNN.

Bash along with Deirde Walsh was honored with the "Joan S. Barone Award " in 2013 for their exceptionall contribution in congressional reporting.

Taking about her relationship, Bash marriage life was heart wrenching, as she had to face a divorce not once but twice.

Bash married to her first husband, Jeremy Bash in 1998. Jeremy was the former Panetta's Chief of Staff at the Central Intelligence Agency. Bash did'nt have a good understanding with him, and shortly after their marriage they separated.

Likewise, in 2008 Bash married to her second husband, John King and had a son together, named Jonah Frank King. However, the couple again divorced with less than four years of mariage in 2012.

Bash is already turned into 40's, and at the same time she has been fulfilling her responsibility for her child. Despite her unsuccessful marriage life, she was successful  to make the breakthrough in the world of media.

She is more than a happy  in her profession and has been receiving a lot of support from her employers and fans.
