Fredricka Whitfield Biography

Newscaster, Fredricka Whitfield was born on May 31, 1965 belonging to American nationality. She at the moment serves for CNN weekday edition called "CNN Newsroom." Her father name is Olympian Mal Whitfield, and has  a half brother, Edward Whitfield Wright. She completed her graduation from Paint Branch High School in 1983. She received her bachelor's degree from Howard University's  by specializing in Journalism in 1987. During her study at Howard University, she worked as a news anchor for WHBC, a campus radio station. Back then she was one of the bright students who would give much concern about her aimbitions and did a lot of hard-work from earlier days of her college. She stayed News Channel 8 for sometimes and moved to WPLG-TV. In 1995, her talent and skilled was acknowledged by NBC News channel and was hired for NBC Nightly News.
