Lauren Sanchez Biography

Lauren Sanchez was born on 19th of December 1969 in Albuquerque, New Mexico as Wendy Lauren Sanchez. She is an American news anchor, entertainment reporter and media personality. From her early childhood, her dream was to become a part of television work.

The glamour of media and highlights attracted her to the field. She also wanted to be the part of movies and host shows. Her father is from a Filipino and her mother is from African-America descent. 

After graduating from high school, she moved to Los Angeles. She joined El Camino college in Torrance, California. There she wrote for the college newspaper, The Warwhoop. She got qualified for a scholarship to the University of Southern California, where she majored in communications. 

She started her career working as desk assistant in Los Angeles at KCOP-TV. Sanchez also joined ABC affiliate KTVK-TV in Phoenix as an anchor and reporter. She reported the show ‘Extra’. After that, she moved to Fox Sports Net. There she was appointed as an anchor and reporter. Sanchez was also the correspondent of the sport magazine ‘Going Deep’ and also entertainment reporter for FSN’s Best Damn Sports Show Period.

On that time, she was nominated for an Emmy award for her in-depth coverage of the hazards of metal baseball bats. She was one of the finalists to co-host the show ‘The View’ along with Barbara Walters which was run by ABC Network. But the position was offered to the other finalists Lisa Ling. In 1999, Sanchez rejoined KCOP-TV. Sanchez became the host for ‘So You Think You Can Dance and after working for one season, she has to quit the show because she was having her second child.

After some period, Sanchez returned to Extra as weekend anchor and special correspondent in 2009. In addition, she has also made appearance in several films and television series including The Longest Yard (2005), Fantastic Four (2005), The Day After Tomorrow, Akeelah and the Bee, Killer Movie, Batman Begins and Fight Club (1999). She has also appeared on the CBS series “NCIS” and the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives.

To know about her personal life, Lauren is now married to Patrick a Hollywood agent who represents acting talents like Matt Damon, Hugh Jackman and Ben Affleck. They got married in September 2005. Since then, this couple have been together and they do not have any kind of conflict in their marriage. Lauren has two sons and one daughter. 

Her first child Nikko was born on 2001 and he was from her previous relationship with Tony Gongalez. Evan the second child was born on 2006 and the youngest on Ella was born in 2008. The 43 years old Lauren, is five feet and three inch tall and she has a hot body. She has been regarded as a elegant woman by her viewers. 

She has a long and tender legs which she shows off by wearing short and tight skirts. Lauren was recently featured in “People’s 50 Most Beautiful “ and “Us Weekly’s Hottest Bodies” issues. Lauren is one of the hottest newscasters that has ever heated up the U.S. airwaves.
