Savannah Guthrie

An American attorney and journalist Savannah Guthrie was born on December 27, 1971 Melbourne, Australia. Her father passed away from a heart attack when she was 16. She is currently associated with NBC News as a reporter and legal analyst in addition with that she is also a co-anchor of the Today Show. She completed her graduation from Amphitheater High School in Tucson. She has a height of 5 ft 10 inches. Later she joined the University of Arizona and did a undergraduate degree in journalism. Soon after completion of her undergraduate degree, in 1993 she began to appear in media.

At the beginning of her career she worked as a weekend anchor at KMIZ in Columbia-Jefferson City, Missouri and a couple of years after she started to work in television. Guthrie worked for NBC affiliate KVOA in Tucson, Arizona in 1995 and served there for five years before moving to WRC-TV. She served in WRC-TV Washington, D.C as a reporter and covered a major news like 2001 anthrax attacks, September 11,2001 terroist attack. Later in 2002 she joined as a reporter for Court TV and made a coverage of the Martha Stewart case, the Michael Kackson trial, abduction and murder trial of Carlie Brucia and several others.

And later she decided to go for her higher education and in 2002 she received a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Guthrie was a member of Order of the Coif and got the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy award for her contribution to victims of domestic violence. She was also a member at Georgetown University Law Center, giving lecture on a weekly basis to the students before she made her comeback in media. Guthrie joined NBC News since 2008 and began to serve as a White House correspondent. She made her appearance in all kinds of news and also did a co-anchor role with several people. She mada a report and coverage of major stories like presidential election and different national and international news in NBC. Her contribution in NBC News channel was really acknowlegeable and later she became NBC News’s Chief Legal Analyst from May 2011.

Guthrie first marriage ends with divorce, her ex-husband was BBC News anchor Mark Orchand and they were married in 2005, they didn’t have a children. The couple relationships didn’t go well and were separated after four years. Soon after their divorce,there were lots of rumors about Guthrie affairs with a guy name Michael Feldman who is a political and communications consultant and have been on dating. She is currently residing in SoHo district in Manhattan. In May 2013, Guthrie herself announced on NBC Today Show that she is engaged with Feldman and will going to get married soon.
